Here we go; to check the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) press * # 06 #. If you need to view the software version of your phone then press *#0000#. Yeah I can see the big grin on your face. If for one reason or the other you need to reset your phone to the default settings you know factory settings, then press *#7780#. This is for people with newer devices that support WLAN. *#62209526# displays the MAC address of the WLAN adapter. *#92702689# takes you to a secret menu where you may find some of the information below:
1. Displays Serial Number.
2. Displays the Month and Year of Manufacture
3. Displays (if there is) the date when the phone was purchased (MMYY).
4. Displays the date of the last repair if found (0000).
5. Shows life timer of phone (time passes since last start).
*#3370# will Enhance Full Rate Codec (EFR) activation. It will increase signal strength and give you better reception. It also helps with GPRS where service is too slow or not responding. The catch is that it will drain your battery faster. *#3370* will deactivate the EFR. The phone will automatically restart and battery life will increase by 30% because phone receives less signal from network.
